According to research, oil pulling provides oral health benefits and improves overall health [1]. Sesame oil is the preferred oil for pulling due to its anti-plaque activity [3]. This oil pulling allows you to do it in 5 minutes versus the 20 minutes itnormallyt akes with a traditional oil.

Oral health and hygiene [1]; Harmful microorganism and plaque removal [1, 2]
When you swish oil in your mouth, the bacteria clings to it allowing you to spit it out. Oil pulling promotes the excretion of toxins through saliva when it is spit out. More specifically, oil pulling stimulates salivary enzymes that absorb toxins from the blood and encourage their removal from the body through the tongue [2]. Therefore, oil pulling helps detoxify the entire body [1, 2]. Sesame oil is well-known for pulling bacteria, viruses, and fungi from the oral cavity [1]. The botanicals in this formula have been shown through previous research to facilitate oil pulling, promote detoxification, improve oral health, and enhance overall health [1, 4-11].

Remember to clean your tongue and brush your teeth first. Then 'chew' and swish (for best results - this stimulates saliva), spit into the toilet and rinse with lukewarm, salt water. Your mouth never felt so clean! Use undiluted, or mix contents with 5 oz. organic sunflower, sesame (not toasted) or coconut oil—i.e. 1:3 ratio. Swish daily after tongue cleaning and toothbrushing. Place 1 tbsp mixture in mouth. Slowly swish it around the mouth and "chew" on it for 5-15 minutes. When done, do not swallow but spit into toilet or trash can (not into sink). Rinse your mouth with lukewarm, saline water.
